Newsletters, signup forms and the work behind publishing

Practical guides to planning newsletters, designing clear signup journeys, delivering useful resources and measuring what happens next.

Build a publication people can understand

A newsletter begins before the first email. A reader needs to understand the promise, a form needs to explain the next step, and someone has to keep the publication useful after the signup. MLMN brings those jobs together in practical guides for independent publishers, creators and small editorial teams.

Start with the reader you serve. A local publication, a musician and a specialist research business may all collect email addresses, yet their useful next messages are different. Our guides connect the editorial decision to the form, confirmation, resource and measurement that support it.

Choose the workflow you are working on

For a recurring publication, begin with the publisher newsletter guide and turn its promise into an editorial calendar. If readers arrive through a social profile or a performance, the creator newsletter guide addresses a more personal, occasion-led relationship.

For a download, work through lead-magnet selection before e-book delivery. A resource is useful only when someone can obtain and use it; a successful-looking button is a poor substitute for that complete journey.

Make the technical steps visible

Our form guides cover labels and accessibility, email validation and a review before launch. These are working explanations with examples, rather than claims that a particular template will produce a guaranteed result.

Keep reporting equally clear. The click-analysis guide separates link activity from reader outcomes, while the deliverability guide explains the checks that belong around a real sending service.

A new editorial chapter

If you arrived from an old form.mlmn.ch link, this publication cannot complete that former signup or deliver its promised download. Find out how to check an old signup link without giving your email address to an unrelated publication.

MLMN previously served hosted form journeys used by separate organisations. This publication is a new independent editorial project about that underlying work. Historical examples are identified as observations of those earlier uses; their organisations are not presented as our customers or contributors.

The former third-party subscription forms are retired. This site does not enrol visitors in those newsletters or recover their accounts. Read about the publication or use the current contact page for an enquiry to the present publisher.
